How to Add Tynt Insight to Blogger/Blogspot

    1. Log in to your Blogger account and on your Dashboard click ‘Layout’.

    2. On the Layout Page make sure that you are on the ‘Page Elements’ tab then click ‘Add Gadget’.

    3. In the Add Gadget window select HTML/Javascript.

    4. In the next window enter a name for your Tynt Insight gadget and paste your Tynt Insight script into the content portion of the window. Click ‘Save’.

    5. You will see confirmation that you have added a ‘Page Element’ to your blog. Look for Tynt Insight in the list of page elements.

    How to Add Tynt Insight to a Ning Network

    You need to go to the ‘Manage’ screen for your Network. There are three ways to get there. Click on the html link, the icon for the network or clicking ‘Social Networks’.

    1. Click ‘Manage’.ning1
    2. Click on ‘Analytics’ in the next windowning2
    3. Paste your Tynt Insight script into the window and click ‘Save’. (Note: It may look like nothing is happening.) ning41
  1. Test the script by copying and pasting some of the content. There should be an Attribution Link added to the copied and pasted content.

How to Add Tynt Insight to WordPress

Note: There are two types of WordPress accounts. One that is hosted by WordPress at WordPress.com and the other that is ’self-hosted’. Self-hosted means that you download files from WordPress.org and upload them to another web server. If you have an account that is hosted by WordPress then unfortunately, you cannot YET add Tynt Insight to your site. If you have a self-hosted account and you can access the code then you can the Tynt Insight to your site.

  1. Download the WordPress Code from WordPress.org.1-download-code
  2. Open the zip file and find the ‘wp-content’ folder.1-wordpress-files
  3. Open the ‘Themes’ and then folder for which ever template that you are using and open the ‘footer.php’ file.

  4. Find the </body> tag near the end of the file and insert the code just above it.

  5. Paste your Tynt Insight script into the code.

  6. Save the changes and upload them to your web server.

How to Add Tynt Insight to WebsiteWorks.com site

Note: This is very simple.

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Go to the “MY Content” tab.
  3. Select “Edit Page Content”.
  4. Select the “Welcome” page to edit.
  5. Click on “Meta Tags” and paste your Tynt Insight script into the “Add Google Analytics Code Snippet:” area.

How to Add Tynt Insight to a Site Hosted on Register.com

Note: There are two options so please pick the one that is right for you. Option 1

  1. open the Do-It-Myself website editor.
  2. In the editor, you need to click on site add-ons
  3. Pick one of the black add it here buttons, as close to the bottom of your page as possible without being in the footer.
  4. Choose site extras
  5. In the left hand column, about the 3rd item down is Add your own HTML and click the small blue add link.
  6. A small text box will appear for you to paste your html/javascript code.
  7. Once your code is pasted into the box just click done.

Option 2

  1. Click on a pencil, preferably one without any content in it already (If you don’t have any free pencils, try switching the layout to one that includes more templates).
  2. Select the option to add text and select next.
  3. From inside the text editor, select the “source” button at the top left.
  4. Add the code into this editor, then switch back into text mode by hitting that same button at the top left. Keep hitting next until it adds it to the page.

Your site should now have your code on it and you’re ready to go! Good luck!
